The Tune Library

Gary’s Books

“Gary,

I just bought your Bagpipe Hymnal last week and I have had some time to look it over and try out some of the tunes.

I must congratulate you on a masterful accomplishment, both in the arrangements of the tunes as well as the selections.  You must have had some of our Kirk’s old hymnals to work from.  I am glad I spent the money and got the tunes.  You have a knack for transposing music to the pipes and having the tune sound like the hymn; this can be difficult.

Thanks again,”
